Katana (Suicide Squad) painting

Did a quick study painting of Katana from the Suicide Squad.
Half way through I thought I would try a little experiment and so I painted each hair strand seperatley on different layers to animate it for a fun little gif later on.

Blackened Eyes

The eyeballs were painted on a seperate layers too to be able to paint in the black eye transformation later on. I plan on creating a few animated gifs sometime in the future with some sort of story for it. So this was just a little test run for that.

Game Enviroment (Crime Alley)

So this was the beggining of a week or so project of a Game Enviroment of Crime alley. All modeled in 3ds Max.

Here I was just testing out the ligthing of the scene trying to work out the spot light from the lampost most of all.

Added the door light to the scene to get a sense of how the lights will work there and how it would effect the objects infront of it.

Since I found the wall a bit boring and plain I added some graffiti artwork onto the wall.

Added a little bit more graffitti on the other wall "Funk" the reference will only be gotten by a few of you people.

Added the roses which batman leaves there.

So to Finnish it all off I brought it into photoshop to add some rain effects to the scene to complete the mood of the scene.

Brightened up for those of you on i pads that find the other image too dark
